These terms govern your use of this website (the "Site") operated by Steps Ecommerce, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. By using the Site you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. About us and our services
Steps Ecommerce provides e-commerce management and marketing services for marketplace sellers and D2C brands, including reconciliation, listing optimisation, advertising, RTO control, onboarding, photography, website development and related services. Information on the Site is for general guidance and does not constitute a binding offer.
2. Enquiries, diagnosis and proposals
Submitting a form or booking a call does not create a contract. After understanding your account, priorities and workload, we provide a written scope covering deliverables, responsibilities, timelines, reporting and commercial terms. A client engagement begins only when that written scope is agreed by both parties.
3. Free diagnosis
Any free diagnosis is provided for informational purposes based on the data available at the time. Estimates (for example, potential recoveries or savings) are indicative, not guaranteed.
4. No guarantee of results
E-commerce outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including marketplace policies, competition, pricing and product demand. We do not guarantee specific revenue, ranking, recovery, or profitability results.
5. Client responsibilities
Where you engage us, you agree to provide accurate information, necessary account access, and timely approvals. You remain responsible for compliance with marketplace policies and applicable law (including tax obligations).
6. Scope and commercial terms
Scope and commercial terms are set out in the written proposal for each engagement and are not published on the Site. They are agreed before work begins.
7. Confidentiality
We treat client account data and business information as confidential and use it only to deliver the agreed services. Likewise, our methods, templates and reports are our confidential material.
8. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — text, design, logos, tools and graphics — is owned by or licensed to Steps Ecommerce and may not be copied or reused without permission. Deliverables created for a client are governed by the engagement's written scope.
9. Third-party tools and links
The Site uses and may link to third-party services (for example Google, Cal.com, Web3Forms, and the marketplaces themselves). We are not responsible for the content or practices of third parties.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Steps Ecommerce is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from use of the Site or our free resources. Liability under any client engagement is governed by that engagement's written terms.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh shall have jurisdiction, unless a client engagement states otherwise.
12. Changes
We may update these terms at any time; continued use of the Site means you accept the updated terms.
